Crash Involving Motorcycle And Minivan Results In Three Injuries

TOWN OF SCOTT – A two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle and a minivan resulted in three injuries on Tuesday, June 18th. The minivan was headed west on County Road Q when it attempted a left turn onto County Road K. At that same time, a Harley-Davidson driven by a man from McAlester, Oklahoma that was heading north on K struck the middle of the van on the driver’s side. The 55 year old driver of the bike and his 47 year old female passenger were thrown from the vehicle. Both sustained serious injuries and were taken to a Wausau hospital. The driver was transported to UW Health in Madison for advanced care.

The woman who was driving the minivan was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Merrill. The 88 year old driver thought she had enough time to make the turn. A reconstruction of the crash scene is being conducted by Wisconsin State Patrol.
